Knight of the Month

For the month of May, 2025, Council 9238 is delighted to honor Fr. Mark Guzman as our Knight of the Month. Since his ordination in 2008, Father Mark has served in various roles including Parochial Vicar at St. Michael Parish in Olympia, Priest Administrator at St. Mary Parish in Marysville and the Mission of St. Anne in Tulalip and Pastor of St. Benedict Parish in Seattle. In 2014, Fr. Mark was assigned as Pastor of St. Nicholas, and now he oversees the parish family 52, which includes Prince of Peace in Belfair, St. Gabriel in Port Orchard, and St. Nicholas in Gig Harbor. He is deeply involved with these parishes and their associated schools. Our parish family is truly blessed to have Fr. Mark, and we are grateful for his dedication and service.

Family of the Month

For the month of May, St. Nicholas Knights of Columbus have selected the family of Sir Knight Ryan Barry as our Family of the Month. Aside from being an officer in the Knights council and an ardent volunteer at Knights events, Ryan is also an alter server. Cindy teaches children’s faith formation classes and serves as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion during Mass and is present at events around the church. The council, and the church, are indeed blessed to have the Barry family as part of the parish family.
