Council 9238 is pleased to select the Lohrmeyer family as the August 2025 family of the month.
David and Elizabeth Lohrmeyer have been active members of St. Nicholas Parish since 2015. Together, they are raising their daughters—Kristin (10.5), Rebecca (9), and Veronica (6 months)—to love God above all else. Their commitment to faith is evident through their regular participation in Mass, frequent reception of the Sacraments, and service to the parish community. Each member of the family has taken on roles in the celebration of the Holy Mass, including Kristin.
In 2022, Elizabeth founded the Women’s Ministry and later served as the Pastoral Assistant for Parish Life from 2023 to 2025. She also initiated the annual Perpetual Rosary devotion, prayed every October at St. Nicholas since 2022.
David, who works at the Keyport Warfare Center in Poulsbo, has been actively involved in the Men’s Ministry since its inception in 2023, making spiritual growth a continued priority. The Lohrmeyer family—now five strong—enjoys contributing to events like Campus Cleanup, the Tolentino Festival, and setting up Sunday Hospitality.
When not at St. Nicholas, the family can usually be found at home homeschooling, reading, tackling house projects, or spending time outdoors. They especially love hiking, beach outings, and downhill skiing.
